Teaching Philosophy: I believe in challenging students at a pace they’re comfortable with. I always like to understand where students abilities are. What can they naturally do? What do they really struggle with? I give students material that helps them build on their strengths and improve on their weaknesses. My biggest area of emphasis revolves around making sure students are able to demonstrate practiced techniques intentionally and not accidentally.

Hello! My name is Nick, and I have an AA in Music from Harford Community College. Currently, I am working
to get my degree in Music Education from Towson University with a performance area of Jazz/Commercial
Guitar. For the last 3 years, I have been teaching independently while catering to the needs of students of
all ages. I can teach all styles, but am most comfortable with Pop, Rock, Country, and Jazz.
