Teaching Philosophy: My philosophy of teaching music is rooted in the belief that music is not just a skill to be learned, but a profound avenue for personal growth, emotional development, and cultural connection. I aspire to inspire my students to explore the world of music with curiosity, creativity, and a sense of wonder. Through engaging, inclusive, and thoughtful teaching, I aim to foster a lifelong appreciation for music that students can carry with them throughout their lives.
Get to know Nicole
I am originally from Ohio, but I have lived in North Carolina since 2007. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Choral Music Education at Bowling Green State University and have been teaching music ever since. I have taught all grades, choral and general music. I enjoy singing, reading, walking my jack russell terrier Rummy, and spending time with my husband Rick and my 8 year old son, Noah.
