Education: B.A. in Music and Music performance, with a focus on vocal studies
Performance Experience: Nina has performed in venues and open mics around the area such as Bethesda Blues and Jazz, Jammin Java, and Howard Theater. During her time at Drew University, she performed in the concert hall more times than she can even count. Nina has orchestrated her own performances and helped others plan theirs.
Teaching Experience: Private instruction of Voice, Beginner Piano, and Music Theory since 2018.
Teaching Philosophy: Music is more than just the notes we are playing, lots of the time, learning music is an emotional journey. I am an empathic teacher who focuses on the student's needs and helps them grow. I am able to communicate my knowledge in a way that is easy to understand, I believe that music is for everyone. I hope to provide my students with a well-rounded music education that helps them to cultivate their passion.

Get to know Nina Esposito Faraone

When Nina was 6 years old she told her mom that she wanted to sing. Since then, music has always been an important part of her life. She has taken 17 years of private voice lessons and 10 years of private piano lessons. Nina has sung in choirs, been a part of bands, and led and participated in acapella groups. She has been teaching for 5 years and loves spreading her passion for music to others. As a songwriter with a background in music theory, Nina allows her student's creativity to flourish while still focusing on the fundamentals.
