Get to know Norah Krantz
Norah Krantz is a trumpet player located in the Rochester area. A Los Angeles native, Norah received her Bachelors of Music in Trumpet Performance from the Eastman School of Music and a Bachelors of Arts in German Language from the University of Rochester. She has recorded with the Eastman Wind Ensemble and Collegium Musicum, a historical baroque ensemble. Norah was a finalist in the 2025 North American Baroque Trumpet Competition, and was a member of the first-prize winning group in the 2024 Baroque Trumpet Ensemble Competition. She was a featured soloist in the Thomas Edison Recording Project. She is currently an active member in her brass quintet. Norah has studied with James Thompson and Andrew McCandless.
