About Olivia Farrell

Olivia Farrell's journey in music began at age 11 in Southwest Florida. Through high school, Ms. Farrell immersed herself in a number of music related activities including marching band, jazz band, high school musicals, youth orchestra, percussion ensemble and wind ensemble. Olivia received her Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she studied orchestral percussion performance under Jeremy Branson, Christopher Allen, and Paul Evans. Throughout the last 10 years, Ms. Farrell has performed all over the East Coast, most notably with the Naples Players Theater as a percussionist and drummer for three years.  

As a music educator, Olivia believes in creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that allows students to explore their musical interests and talents. Her teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a strong foundation in music theory and technique while encouraging students to express themselves creatively. Olivia's patient and adaptable approach ensures that each student's learning journey is tailored to their individual needs and aspirations.
