About Olivia Gerns

Get to know Olivia Gerns
Now at age 24, Olivia has been able to pursue a multifaceted career in the arts post-grad. She served as a Music Instructional Specialist in the Las Virgenes Unified School District, teaching at Agoura High School, Lindero Canyon Middle School, and A.E. Wright Middle School, where she worked closely with the band directors, and conducted their ensembles in rehearsals and performances. She also began streaming her music online, debuted her first album “Innocence,” and cultivated her own studio of private Oboe and Piano students. As part of her songwriting career, she has written and composed songs for dance choreography products to be sold to dance studios across the nation, and continues to do so for Music Works Unlimited.
As an accomplished singer/songwriter, teacher, and musician, Ms. Gerns loves being able to share her artistic values and attributes with her students and her audience. She is happy to be able to be an educator in multiple settings within the community, and continues to work toward a versatile career in the Los Angeles area. To add to her experience, Olivia is also a published author with The Mighty, writing articles on Mental Health subjects. She is passionate about using her creative skill set to be a voice for others who struggle with Mental Illness.
