Get to know Omar Ramirez
A New Orleans trumpet player, composer and arranger of many styles, Omar draws from a wide range of musical experiences in his teaching. Omar is a regular performer at The French Quarter Festival and The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival with Johnny Sketch and The Dirty Notes, among other ensembles. He holds degrees in music composition and Jazz Studies from Loyola University and The University of New Orleans, respectively.”
