About Paul Kellogg
Get to know Paul Kellogg
My name is Paul Kellogg and I am a piano instructor at the Music and Arts Glendora location. I am a lifelong musician who specializes in keyboard instruments, mainly piano and organ. I have experience performing in many genres, including classical, jazz, rock, gospel, worship band, musical theatre, Indian classical, avant garde, choral, and hip hop. I recently graduated from California Lutheran University and am now working in the recording industry as a runner at NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood in addition to teaching and performing regularly.
At CLU, I am a former member of the California Lutheran University Choir and Jazz Ensemble, and have additionally composed pieces for both of those groups. I have served as accompanist for the CLU Chapel Choir, and have served as music director and accompanist for two on-campus plays. I am also a former member of the Kingsmen Quartet and Wind Ensemble. I graduated from CLU in May 2020 with a BA in music production.
Since 2018, I have served as organist at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thousand Oaks, California. In 2019 I won first prize in the AGO Ventura County Chapter Quimby Regional Competition for Young Organists and went on to compete in the final round at the AGO West Convention in Orange County. I currently serve as sub-dean of said chapter.
I am a lover of all styles of music, and am also a multi-instrumentalist, with experience playing guitar, bass guitar, drumset, and percussion in addition to keyboard instruments and voice.
