About Ms. Paula

Paula is a dynamic and energetic Piano Teacher with more than 30 years teaching experience. She possesses both excellent communication skills and time management. She is highly motivational and adept in creating exciting and entertaining learning environments that will inspire you or your child to learn and enjoy playing piano.

She provides a broad-based instruction tailored to the individual. Students will learn to read and use music notation, proper playing technique, as well as develop their sense of musicality and expression. She offers students a range of styles of piano music to explore and enjoy.

She has degrees from Macalester College (Bachelor of Arts) and Westminster Choir College (Master of Arts). In 1995 she moved to the Washington, DC area and enjoys teaching for Montgomery County Public Schools in a variety of subject areas including general music, choral music, and piano instruction.

She looks forward to working with you and/or your child on developing the skill of piano playing and a love of music!
