Performance Experience: Toured the East Coast with different bands from 1996-2003. Performed solo and with bands in Frederick at Alive at Five, In the Streets, and various clubs and bars.
Teaching Experience: Private instruction of guitar, bass guitar, drums, and piano for 25 years
Teaching Philosophy: I teach guitar at all levels from beginner to professional. I customize my lessons to the musical tastes of the individual student. I have the ability to reduce technique and musical concepts to their essence and present them in a way that is accessible.
Get to know Peter
I grew up in the Burlington, VT music scene. I attended Johnson State College where friends and I formed a band that caught the eye of management who opened the doors for us to tour on the North East Coast. After moving to Frederick, I began performing with bands and solo in various clubs and bars, at Alive at Five, and In The Streets. From an early age, music has been a comfort, refuge and an outlet for expression. I want to make it as easy as possible for other people to experience that, too.
