About Peter Marino

My name is Peter Marino and I am a lifelong music practitioner and student, with a focus on teaching guitar and trumpet.  My musical journey began in Middle School, playing trumpet, and starting to learn guitar.  I was the Trumpet Section Leader of the Leesville Road High School's Symphonic Band 10th through 12th grade, sang at Appalachian State University in an Acapella group for all four years, and currently play trumpet in The Charlotte Concert Band, Queen City Swing, as well as guitar in a small band, The Blue Moon Boys.  My goal is to make music accessible and exciting to all, and to get you playing!  Once you get involved with music, it is something you will always have. I love sharing my passion and joy, and communicating that to others to help them grow on their own musical journeys.
