About Rachel Anderson

Education: Bachelor of Arts Degree in flute performance from Frostburg State University

Performance Experience: Flute students of Ms. Anderson have been admitted to Columbia University , Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio, Berkeley College of music in Boston, and West Virginia University. Back home in Delaware, her students have been admitted to Cab Calloway School of the Arts, All State Band , All State Band, and All State Choir. Piano students have completed Royal Conservatory Exams through level 6.

Teaching Experience: Over 30 years teaching experience

Teaching Philosophy: She enjoys working with flute and piano students from beginner thru advanced. It’s fun to learn how each student thinks and help them achieve their goals. Rachel also holds a private pilot license and is very active in the aviation community.
