      Education: BM in Music Performance from the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University and MM in Music Performance from the Fred Fox School of Music at the University of Arizona.
      Performance Experience: In addition to time spent studying, Rachel is an active freelancer and has performed with various ensembles in Southern Arizona including the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, True Concord Orchestra Voices, Tucson Pops Orchestra, and well-known artists such as Adele.
      Teaching Experience: 4 years spent as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, 5+ years experience offering private instruction on trumpet performance
      Teaching Philosophy: The most important aspect of creating and studying music is joy.

      Get to know Rachel Clemmer

      Rachel Clemmer is a trumpeter with years of experience as both a performer and educator.  During her four years as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona, she taught private lessons at the undergraduate level, played in various large ensembles, and performed as a member of the Fred Fox Graduate Brass Quintet.  When not performing, Rachel enjoys soaking up the Arizona sunshine with her partner, two dogs, and horses.
