About Rachel Rollins

Hello! My name is Rachel Rollins and I am thrilled to share my love of music through woodwind instruction at Music and Arts. My musical journey began at a young age with private piano lessons and frequent public performances. I started playing the flute at 12 years old and picked up the saxophone, oboe, and clarinet while studying at university. I earned my Bachelor of Music with a Music Education Emphasis from the University of South Carolina in December of 2022. 

While studying at the University of South Carolina, I participated in the Carolina Band, Symphonic Winds, Swing Shift jazz ensemble, and a variety of chamber ensembles. I also accompanied vocal and instrumental students for their performances and assessments. From this, I have experience in performing and teaching a range of musical styles. I strive to create a welcoming and engaging environment that is specifically tailored to each students’ preference.
