Teaching Philosophy: I believe that everyone has the capacity to develop a solid foundation in music, and the skills and virtues they learn in the process (focus, patience, resilience, etc.) will serve them for the rest of their lives regardless of whether they continue pursuing music professionally, as a hobby, or not at all. My goal as a teacher is to inspire and guide each student as they develop healthy musical habits, excellent practical skills, and a general appreciation for the art of music-making.

Get to know Rebeca Enloe

Born and raised in Romania, Rebeca attended the National School of Music and Arts at the age of ten, studying flute in a rigorous, conservatory-like environment. Throughout her high school years, she participated in numerous national and international masterclasses, festivals, and competitions, winning prizes and performing as a soloist with the Timisoara Banatul Philharmonic. Rebeca went on to earn a B.M. from The Master’s University (CA) and a M.M. from Azusa Pacific University (CA), where she studied with Gary Woodward, former principal flautist for the Los Angeles Opera. During her time studying in California, Rebeca has enjoyed teaching and performing as a professional freelance musician in the Greater Los Angeles Area, as well as touring with Romanian orchestras while visiting her homeland. Rebeca and her husband Chris have recently moved to Baltimore city where he will be pursuing a DMA at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University.
