Teaching Experience: He has taught private lessons to middle school to high school students for 5 years, and has taught at three high school marching band camps.
Teaching Philosophy: Percussionists have to split their musicianship across multiple instruments to be successful. Snare drum requires rhythm and consistency, and marimba requires musicality and expressiveness. These building blocks of the percussion family will improve your musical knowledge and prepare you for a stronger relationship with music. I believe fostering a genuine interest with music is the best way to improve, so I approach every student as an individual and find which method they best respond to.
