Teaching Philosophy: Music is a path of constructing goals with passion and effort. Practicing hard and being patient is "in my thinking" the best way to find your best in music. This is what I would like to apply in my teaching to build my student's life involved in music.

Ricardo Puche / Doublebass - Electric Bass - Strings

Music Master - University of  North Texas

Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, at age 9 he began his double bass studies with the National System of Symphonic Orchestras of Venezuela under the guidance of professors Fernando Caicedo and Luis Mora. He has been a member of numerous ensembles such as the Fire Percussion Ensemble within El Sistema. As a member of the Rafael Urdaneta Symphony Orchestra he obtained the position of principal and with it represented Venezuela in several national and international tours, including the Festival of Culture in Bergamo, Italy in 2011. In 2015 Ricardo settled in Bogotá where he is accepted for his university studies at the National University of Colombia by Master Jaime Ramírez Castilla.

Bogota Symphony Foundation

Participating in orchestral productions for private companies such as Alquería, etc.

Young Philharmonic of Colombia

Representing Colombia on national and international tours including the Europe 2017 Tour.

Filmex Productions

He worked as an actor performing the contrabass in the television production "Loquito por ti" with the company Caracol TV, which will be released this year 2018, working with important music artists such as Juan Carlos Coronel, Andy Caicedo, Cesar Mora and Giovanni Parra .

Big Band of the National University of Colombia.

Active member, he has participated in the Jazz Festival of Ibagué, Tolima, among others.

Brand Lakland Bass

Ricardo is the endorser of the American electric bass label "Lakland Basses" in Colombia.

New Philharmonic Philharmonic Orchestra

Active member, he has accompanied the artist Santiago Cruz in a Symphonic concert.

Big Band Symphony of Juan Carlos Coronel.

Active member, he has participated in the Billboard Colombia and concerts on TV.

Pirastro Elite Soloist

Winner of the Pirastro Elite Soloist festival led by maestro Jeff Bradetich at the Univrsity Of North Texas in Denton USA where only 5 double bass players in the world were accepted, Ricardo represented all of Latin America, standing out as a soloist.

Orchestra of the Americas.

The OA (Orchestra of Americas), where I participate as a Principal and director representing Colombia and Venezuela in the hands of maestro Dominik Seldis, main bassist of the Dutch Concertgebouw, traveling through important European countries such as Ukraine, Poland , Germany and Scotland.

International Festival of Esmeraldas

Selected to participate in the International Festival of Esmeraldas in the city of Quito, Ecuador, where he had the privilege of taking classes with Joseph Conyers, against assistant bassist of the Philadelphia Orchestra and the teacher Andrew Mark, master pedicure at the University of Berklee Music of College.

Young Interpreters of the Bank of the Republic.

Winner of Young Performers of the Bank of the Republic next to the library Luis Angel Arango, for the season of 2019 like soloist in groups of camera format Duo (Contrabass and Piano), of the hand of the teacher Jaime Ramirez Castile, professor of the National University of Colombia.
