Performance Experience: Rob has performed extensively, both as a solo artist and as a sideman for various artists and performers including Jesse DeNatale, Ira Marlow, Sonya Hunter, Ralph Carney, Misner & Smith, the Brigham Brothers and many others
Teaching Experience: Rob has extensive experience teaching guitar, voice and songwriting.
Teaching Philosophy: Rob's believes that each student's talents are unique and irreplaceable. Therefore, he believes that his job as a music teacher is to bring forth the unique abilities of each individual student by helping define and refine each student's unique style and musical vision. In other words, his job is to help each student develop both the instrumental technique and the musical listening skills that will enable the student to achieve their musical goals and aspirations.

Get to know Rob Bayne

Rob Bayne is a guitarist, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist originally from Northern Virginia with over 30 years of performance and teaching experience.  His playing and original music comprise an eclectic blend of folk, blues, country, swing, R&B and rock.  In addition to his current residency with the Music and Arts Center, he is also the Studio Manager for Artist Development at the Duvateen Sound Production Company in Northern California,
