Performance Experience: Mr. Nelson has plays saxophone with the Houston Symphony and flute with the Heights Concert Band for 40+ years. Additionally, Mr. Nelson has formerly played with the Carlton Morris Dance and Jazz Band.
Teaching Experience: Across a span of 44 years, Mr. Nelson has taught across Belton, Cameron, West, Copperas Cove, Killeen, Temple, Klein, and South Houston Independent School Districts, to name a few.
Teaching Philosophy: Mr. Nelson's love of students and music is paramount in his life.
Get to know Bob Nelson
Mr. Nelson has been teaching private woodwind lessons for 43 years. His undergraduate degree was from the University of Huston. He received his Master's from Tarleton State University. He has played in many bands and orchestras. He enjoyed playing with the Houston Symphony under Leopold Stokowsky.
