Get to know Robyn Troncoso
Robyn Troncoso has held various professional singing positions at DC area churches for over 30 years. She served as chorus member, soloist, cantor, section leader and children’s choir director.
She was part of 2 recordings for the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (A Child Is Born, and I Sing of a Maiden).
She has taught piano and voice lessons for a combination of 25 years, in her home studio, at Immanuel Christian School (for 10 years), and through Music & Arts for the last 11 years at the both the Burke and Springfield locations.
Robyn is an active member of the Springfield Music Club, which offers performance opportunities for her students for entering the National Federation of Music Clubs festivals, competitions and she has helped students prepare for auditions for schools musicals or for entering college.
She aims to tailor lessons according to how each student learns, and wants to instill a love for learning new music. Robyn Troncoso is married and is mom to 4 daughters - 3 who are adults pursuing their interests and 1 who is a junior in high school.
