About Ronald Rexwilliams

My name is Ronald Rexwilliams, but I go by “Rex”. I am a multi-instrumentalist with piano as my primary instrument. I have 7 years of teaching experience working with a variety of ages. Gospel is my focal genre but have received formal training in classical and jazz. I am able to teach any genre preferred. 

My lessons are designed to tailor to the interests and needs of the student. My goal is to ensure my students not only play all the right notes and preform well, but to know why all notes are being played and to play them intentionally. All my students learn music theory to the extent necessary for their skill level and desires. We can improve your note reading, improvisational skills, technique, ability to hear music, etc. Whether you want to play by ear or read music at a high level, I’m here to help. 

Not only do i want you to gain technique and skill in music, but to take all the confidence you acquire behind the piano into the real word. I love to have fun and make people laugh, and I think we will have a great time together.
