About Ryan Hagood

Ryan Hagood is a brass instructor native to Alvin, Texas. A graduate of Murray State University, Mr. Hagood holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education, and studied under Dr. Eric Swisher. A regular performing artist and guest educator, Mr. Hagood has had the privilege of working with several music programs in the Houston area, most notably as a lesson instructor and marching band instructor. Mr. Hagoods performance experiences include membership of the Murray State University concert and marching band ensembles, a tour with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps (2016-2018), and as a visual staff member of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps in 2022. Mr. Hagood looks forward to further studying trumpet performance and pedagogy, and will be auditioning for Graduate Schools in hopes of completing a Master’s Degree in Trumpet Performance. Mr. Hagood brings strong mentorship skills, a large musical knowledge and efficiency to his lessons. A graduate of Alvin High School in 2015, Mr. Hagood has a twin brother, Brandon.
