Get to know Saige Barlow
Saige has been involved with music her whole life! She took piano lessons in grade school and then started voice lessons in middle school. Throughout her life, she has sung and played the flute with high-level ensembles, such as the Arbor View High School Marching Band, Wind Symphony, and Madrigals Choir. She has also sung all four years of high school with Zion’s Youth Symphony and Chorus at the Smith Center. After graduating high school in 2018, she went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education at Utah State University. While she was there, she performed with the USU Chamber Singers, the USU Choral Scholars, and the newly-formed Aggiepella. In addition, she continued playing the flute and took up the trumpet. She quickly developed advanced skills with the trumpet, and she has had the opportunity to perform in many gigs and even teach young trumpet players. In May 2022, she finally graduated from college and is now a choir teacher at Lawrence Junior High School as well as a private instructor with Music and Arts! Saige is overjoyed to be teaching here and enjoys working with students of various ages and abilities!
