Get to know Sarah Beaird
Sarah Harkness is currently pursuing her DMA at Rutgers University with Bart Feller. She received her master’s degree from Roosevelt University, majoring in Classical Flute Performance, studying with Marie Tachouet. She also received her undergraduate degrees in Flute Performance and Music History/Literature from Wheaton College Conservatory and studied under Dr. Jennie Brown. Sarah is a native of Seattle, and has been teaching flute privately for over 10 years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, knitting, and crocheting.
