About Sean Hodge

I have been playing music for almost 20 years. I’ve had a wide variety of experiences from jazz bands and concert bands in high school, to cover bands, to solo acoustic, to professionally gigging original bands. I am currently the keyboard player for local charlottesville band ‘Disco Risque’; I’ve been in the band since the summer of 2020 when I moved to Charlottesville from Northeast Pennsylvania where I helped form a band called ‘Kluster Phunk’.

Born and raised in central Massachusetts, my father was a trumpet and guitar player who started teaching me guitar when I was 7 or 8. He always explained the theory behind what we were doing and when I was in middle school and high school I played in the concert band and the jazz band which furthered my understanding of music.
