Shafik Bastawrous Known as Mr. B has been playing music for 25+ years.

He is able to sing in more than 5 languages!

Mr. B is a great composer. He has recorded CDs and records of instrumental and vocal selections for different churches, musicians, singers and choirs at his own private recording studio.

Mr. B was rewarded as the most talented Arab musician in Washington DC area by the International Arabic TV channel, ART America. He also performed in many different places, such as the Library of Congress, Greek, Italian, Egyptian festivals, International fashion shows, and business conferences. He also does weddings and occasion’s parties at different restaurants, hotels, fundraising events, and musical concerts. Mr. B has performed all around the world; including at the Cathedral of Saint Anthony Church Doncaster, United Kingdom, the opera house of Cairo Egypt, and mission trip leader support in Zambia, Africa. In addition to his degree in music, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Chemistry, followed by an intense two years of laparoscopic surgery assistant degree.

Mr. B has been with Music and Arts in both Oakton and Sterling Virginia for the past 4 years, and has also been teaching guitar in Vienna Virginia for the past 15 years!

Mr. B Also serves as the music and Choir Director for Saint Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Fairfax Virginia, and a Music Director at Good Shepard Christian Academy for the past 10 years
