Education: AA-T in Music from MSJC (2020) and a BA in Flute Performance with an emphasis in Music Composition at CSU Dominguez Hills (Spring 2023)
Performance Experience: I have performed throughout Riverside County from pit orchestras to on-stage orchestras, solo performances, and competitions. As a Composer, my music has been performed by middle school ensembles, The Cadenza String Orchestra, and the virtuoso Brightwork Ensemble for New Music in Los Angeles.
Teaching Experience: I have been a private flute instructor for 7 years (since 2016) teaching students of all ages (my youngest at 7 years old to my oldest at 86 years old). From the elementary band students to college and even as a help to those with medical conditions (such as COPD).
Teaching Philosophy: I believe in meeting my students where they are at and challenging them to grow beyond their perceived limitations. Both teacher and mentor, I instill in my students the knowledge that they need to practice well, to be on the path of performing or playing for pleasure, and knowledge in networking.

Shannon-Gaebrielle has been playing the flute for 15+ years from elementary school to present. She has studied under the studio of Kara Wuchner, Craig Yancey, and Dr. Derrick (Rik) Noyce).
