Teaching Philosophy: I believe that every student is capable of participating in music making. I believe that a student's success is made up of 75% student effort and 25% of a teacher's guidance. As long as students put the time in by practicing outside of lessons, they will rapidly improve every week.
Get to know Shannon-Kate Kelley
My name is Shannon, and I absolutely love teaching music, interacting with students, and performing! I accommodate my teaching to the needs of each student and push them to do the best that they can. I have experience teaching full band ensembles as well as individual and group lessons. I have experience teaching and performing on every instrument in the band family. I hold high expectations for all of my students to work hard, practice, and of course, have fun!
