Get to know Shaun Rimkunas
Shaun Rimkunas is a teacher at Music & Arts who instructs early piano, voice, and brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, french horn, early Tuba). He also mentors Music Theory, Music History and Rudiments of Music.
Shaun Rimkunas is also a Doctor of Musical Arts graduate at the University of Connecticut. His past teachers include, Dr. Kim Dunnick, Professor Frank Campos, Dr. Aaron Witek, Professor Chris Coletti, and Dr. Louis Hanzlik.
Shaun studied with four of the teachers above at Ithaca College earning his Bachelors of Music and Master of Music. Shaun’s love of the arts showcases through his acting, singing, and trumpet playing.
Shaun created, produces, and is the technical director of Music Speaks, where he talks to artists all around the globe, and is currently reaching his 250th episode. You can find his podcast on Spotify, Apple Music, IHeart Radio and other apps where podcasts are available.
