Get to know Sheronda Shorter
Sheronda is an experienced Violist and Violinist, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance on Viola. She’s taught all around Louisville, instructing at the Louisville Youth Orchestra, Simmons College, Western Middle School, UofL String Days, and the Louisville Academy of Music. She now teaches regularly at Music & Arts, bringing new students into the valley of orchestral strings with her charismatic and warm personality and sophisticated teaching capabilities.
Sheronda has performed in several professional orchestras, mostly notably the Lima Symphony Orchestra, where she performed The Music of John Williams, Death of Tchaikovsky, New Year's Eve, Grand Series IV, and Grand Series V, as well as the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, where she performed Made in America, The Greats, Clash of the Titans, Golden days (‘73), Rhythm and Blues, Swordcraft, Music and Mental Health/Trust Yourself, and Mysteries of the Deep.
