      Get to know Soren Basol

Hey y'all, my name is Soren.  For the past 5 years, I've been teaching different high schools in the Philadelphia area, where I currently reside with Downingtown East.  Since graduating from Downingtown East in 2020, I'm glad to be able to give back to those who supported my musical endeavors.  I'm currently a student at West Chester University, studying physics and math.  Since I joined my high school's indoor percussion program in 7th grade, I quickly found passion for marching percussion.  Through long hours of practice, I was granted the opportunity to travel across the country performing with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps ('19).  Being 16 amongst mainly 20 year olds, I took in many lessons, which I still use today in my teaching.
