About Stacey Lipow

Get to know Stacey Lipow
My formal music training began at age fifteen when I joined choir in high school and quickly became one of my choir teacher's pets because all I wanted to do was music. It became my main focus. This lead me on a path toward private voice lessons which continued for thirteen years. My studies in music continued as I went on to college to recieve my BA in Music Education, with a concentration in Voice and minor in Piano.
I have always loved performing in musical theatre and operatic productions. Performing has been a passion of mine and getting to do that with my students is a true joy.
I love teaching voice because I get the opportunity to build my students' musical characteristics, which are essential for becoming a great performer.
With piano, I find it enjoyable to teach theory and rhythmic accuracy, as well as technique. I adore my students because their happiness is so important to me. Many of them have studied with me from childhood through their senior year of high school; some have even majored or minored in music in college. I take great pride in watching them flourish as learners of music, whether they choose to pursue it as a hobby or something more.
My husband of thirty-nine years has recently retired from the automotive industry and my daughter is thirty years old with an MAT. She is a teacher at a private school in Dallas. Together, my family and I have lived in the North Dallas area for 25 years.
