Performance Experience: Broadway for 5 years. County Bands and Orchestras. Playing weddings and Bar Mitvahs.
Teaching Experience: Taught in Long Island , Westchester, and Putnam County
Teaching Philosophy: Play your instrument to the best of your ability by practicing. Everyone is an individual and their talents are different so teaching should be flexible. Try to make it fun to learn the instrument and give encouragement when they do well. Never and I mean never discourage the student should they not play well. Be respectful to the student and they will respect your teaching and excel
Get to know Stanley Indig
Elementary Middle and High school Band teacher for over 40 years. Able to teach all WOODWIND and Brass instruments. Able to prepare all students at all levels for NYSSMA.
Started to play the clarinet at age 10. Been playing professionally for over 35 years. At age 18 I played on Broadway in the orchestra pit for Grease the musical. Played in various Swing Bands in New York. I have a Masters Degree both in Performance and Education.
