About Susan Speicher
Get to know Susan Speicher
I began playing when I was 12, after many people said it was too late for me to learn violin. I kept learning, and the more I learned, the more I wanted to learn. Music, and the people who make it, fascinates me, and I want to spend my life sharing my love of music. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Business from Washington State University, where I studied Violin with Dr. Meredith Arksey, Viola with Dr. Eric Lear, and chamber music with Dr. Ruth Boden. I have coached viola for the Maple Valley Youth Symphony, played in the Washington Idaho symphony Orchestra as Assistant Principle Violist, and principle second violinist in the WSU Orchestra.
