Education: I currently attend the University of Maryland, College Park and I plan to graduate in December 2021. I am studying economic and finance.
Performance Experience: I started playing piano since I was 6 years old and have been playing consistently since then.
Teaching Experience: I have taught students between the ages of 5-13 for 3 years.
Teaching Philosophy: The piano is a beautiful instrument and it is very rewarding when you successfully master a challenging song. You get the most out of piano depending on what you put into it, which is why practicing piano after your lessons is essential to being a talented piano player.
Get to know Tamara Khalil
Hi! I started taking piano since I was 6 years old and have loved it ever since then. I started teaching when I was 15 and enjoyed watching my young students grow and learn. I am very passionate about music and playing the piano is an important aspect of my life. I enjoy playing classical music, jazz, romantic, and others. Some of my favorite composers are Chopin and Debussy.
