Music Teacher, Master
Location: Greenbelt, MD
Speaks: English
Instructs: Baritone, Bass Clarinet, Cello, Clarinet, Flute, French Horn, Saxophone, String Bass, Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba, Viola, Violin

Performance Experience: In addition to teaching, I perform with the Rockville Brass Band. In the past, I have also performed various gigs for holidays. Additionally, I have performed in the Crossmen World Class Drum and Bugle Corps and the Baltimore Ravens Marching Band.
In college, I performed in the concert band and jazz band along side professional jazz musicians.
Teaching Experience: I have taught instrumental music for 20 years. I started in Baltimore City Public Schools my first year and then relocated to Prince George's County Public Schools thereafter. I have been here ever since.
Trumpet is my primary instrument, but I can play all brass instruments. I am also very knowledgeable and can play woodwinds, percussion, and string instruments.
Teaching Philosophy: Music and students share many unique traits. In a classroom of students, you will have many different personalities. They need a teacher that is willing to provide a safe environment to challenge them and each other to be the best they can.
Music is one of the few things that they do that forces them to be perfect. Music uses both sides of the brain. I am given the challenge of providing a well-rounded education to prepare them for society. They are the reason why I teach.
