Teaching Philosophy: I believe every student learns better when they can connect with what they are learning -- when a student can love the sounds they are making, there is a very good chance that the music they are learning will become a part of them.

Get to know Tim Fitzgerald
Timothy Fitzgerald began playing the guitar at the age of ten. He discovered his dad's record collection, and felt especially drawn to blues and folk music. Eventually, he studied guitar at Berklee College of Music with Michael Williams, and The University of Vermont with John Mantegna. His tastes are eclectic, ranging from renaissance lute music to jazz, blues and rock music. He strives to produce emotionally authentic music, regardless of genre and style.
Tim has performed with many ensembles and bands. He is currently focusing on performing solo and small band gigs in the blues/folk/country/rock styles, and his own jazz trio.
