Get to know Tina Pulley
Tina Pulley is a professional violinist, orchestra teacher, and director from Spartanburg, South Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Education from Furman University and a Master of Arts degree in Education -Curriculum and Instruction, from the University of Phoenix. Her teaching career includes 28 years as an orchestra director in both Greenville and Spartanburg Counties, and 3 years as an adjunct violin professor at North Greenville University. Ms. Pulley has directed string masterclasses, adjudicated SC Music Educators Solo & Ensemble events, and been a Clinician in the SC Region Orchestra. Her performing career includes the Greenville Symphony , the Piedmont Chamber Orchestra and Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra, as well as playing in events for weddings, private parties, and churches. Some highlights of her career include performing in the symphony and on stage with noted artists, such as Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, and Josh Groban.
Ms. Pulley is passionate about the success of her students, and believes that music is a universal language and an expression of creativity that everyone should experience. Many of her students have received numerous awards and scholarships, and have also become professional musicians.
