About Todd Fawcett

Todd began taking guitar lessons at the age of 13 with Greg Glassman.  Shortly after while in high school he joined the jazz band, attended jazz camps, and was fortunate to have a lot of performing opportunities.  One such opportunity included going to Moscow to perform in the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. After high school he began performing with in the Seattle area with the Route 66 Big Band Jazz Ensemble.  During this time he began attending Bellevue Community College where he studied guitar, classical theory, and songwriting.  While at BCC he performed with the Big Band Jazz ensemble and began performing with Greg Glassman, his first guitar instructor, at private parties and restaurants. He then started teaching guitar with the Issaquah Parks Department doing group lessons.  Shortly after he began teaching at Mills Music from 1994-2014 and then continued with Music and Arts over the past 10 years.
