Get to know Vera Dragicevich
Vera enjoys teaching students of all ages and skill levels and has helped students wanting to play in their school or other group ensembles. Growing up in Southern California, Vera grew up in an eclectic musical environment, listening to music ranging from classical, rock and roll, to polyrhythmic folk music from Eastern Europe. She began studying violin at an early age and was active in her school ensembles before eventually continuing as a professional musician. With over 20 years teaching and performing experience, Vera performs with professional symphonies, musical theatre ensembles, chamber groups, film and television live on-set recordings and live performances on stages, big and small. In 2000, she attended what she describes as her “dream music camp” in Nashville Tennessee created by the innovative violinist/composer Mark O’Connor. She is also certified to teach the O’Connor Violin Method.
