      About Victor

      Victor Charriez
      Victor
      Music Teacher, Master
      Location: Harker Heights, TX
      Speaks: English, Spanish
Instructs: French Horn, Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba
Education: Masters Degree from University of Central Florida Bachelors Degree from Conservatorio de Musica de Puerto Rico
Performance Experience: Victor was touring the USA and Europe with a salsa band called Josimar y su Yambu. Before this he was working as a freelancer in Florida playing in all of the major cities from Orlando to Tampa to Jacksonville and so on. And in Florida he was playing with local orchestras and have played with the Orlando Philharmonic.
Teaching Experience: He started giving lessons since his Bachelors at the conservatory to upcoming students going to study. He continued his teaching in Florida as he was doing his Masters degree.
Teaching Philosophy: Song & Wind from Arnold Jacobs Sing. Buzz. Play. I believe as Mr. Jacobs did that music starts in our minds, therefore we must sing first to introduce the music in our minds, then buzz the tune because if you can buzz you can play it, and finally we play. This method is my preferred one and is the best way to get anybody playing musically from the beginning.
