Get to know William
I grew up, a military brat. I have lived in many places and visited even more. The one consistency through all that was playing the guitar. Jimi Hendrix is the reason I began learning the instrument and remains my favorite guitarist to this day.
I have been teaching guitar for a year and have one overriding philosophy to learning an instrument; play what you want to play. My teaching style consists of finding out what music you want to learn, then using that song to teach you the basics. Start out with basic chord structures, then progressions, then scales, and finally the theory behind it all.
