Education: In his youth he gained experience playing in rock and roll bands but later perused more serious studies of jazz, classical and theory with a mix of teachers including Dennis Sandole and Lou Stein.
Performance Experience: Bill has been performing for 30+ years and has recently shifted his focus to teaching the next generation of musicians.
Teaching Experience: Bill started teaching in 1980 and has taught at places like Troubador Music, West Chester Music, A# Music, Wayne Music, and now Music & Arts for the last 6 years.
Teaching Philosophy: All students have one thing in common, that they are all different. Every student has different needs and Bill guides the student to their own path for success.

Bill has devoted his life to music and playing the guitar. He has been teaching and performing for over 40 years. 

 

At Music & Arts, Bill's teaching is geared towards the individual and can range from learning basic chords, to serious preparation for college level study. He teaches both fingerstyle, and pick technique for most types of music including rock, folk, country, classical, blues, and jazz. Bill's specialty is analyzing the great standards such as "All the Things You Are" in order to play play them on solo guitar in any key, any style and improvised.
