During the academic year 2013-2014, Xay Dé earned the title of Principal Clarinet of both, the Northern Illinois University Wind Ensemble (the highest wind group within the school) & the Northern Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra. Upon graduation she received a Bachelors Degree in Clarinet Performance.

Music is a beautiful way to connect with others, and with oneself, and the objectives are to learn, grow, and most importantly to enjoy it! That is always the mission Xay Dé sets out to do with her students. Specializing in the woodwind family - clarinet, saxophone, flute, and oboe - Xay Dé hopes you’ll consider taking lessons with her. We’ll be sure to have so much fun together!
