As the end of the school year approaches, you have a decision to make regarding your rental instrument. We wanted to let you know about some opportunities that could greatly benefit your student’s playing and potentially save you a lot of money in the long run.
If the musician in your family has decided to commit to their instrument, it is worth looking into a purchase. There are few purchase/exchange options that people in your position tend to pursue:
1. Upgrade to a step-up instrument that is better suited to complement their improving skills. Step-up instruments are crafted from better quality materials, feature improved action from finer construction, and are designed for consistency across practice and performance. These elements help to improve sound, technique, and build a student’s confidence that drives long-term success. Most band directors encourage students to upgrade as they advance into their second or third year of band.
2. Turn in your beginner quality rental instrument and purchase a new (or previously rented) one utilizing your rental payments as equity, and receive an additional discount of 30% toward the purchase.
3. Exchange your standard rental to a "Step-Up" rental. If you are not quite ready to purchase but want to experience the improved features of a step-up instrument, you can exchange your current student level rental for an upgrade.
***Music & Arts is currently offering 0% interest financing over 12 months for qualified customers. We can even use 100% of your rental equity on certain brands and models!***
You can also simply just continue your monthly rental if none of these options interest you at the moment. *HOWEVER*- please keep in mind that since we apply a percentage-based discount when you buy, the sooner you buy the more money you will save.
Also, be sure to ask us about how to enroll your student in lessons over the Summer. We have fabulous educators that will keep those hands moving.
We encourage you to come in and try out some instruments, as there is no better time. Please give us a call here at the store or email back with any questions you may have. We are happy to help in any way that we can!
