Hailing from Youngstown, Ohio, Cathy Ogram graduated from Youngstown State University's Dana School of Music before joining the military.
Cathy was a career clarinetist and soloist with the U.S. Army Field Band, the nation's premiere touring concert band. After leaving the military, Ms Ogram become
the Music Director for Hargrave Military Academy as well as Principal Clarinetist with the Danville Symphony. During the summers, Ms Ogram served
as the Clarinet Instructor for the Army Reserve students attending the Army School of Music in Norfolk, Va.
Ms Ogram then moved to Norfolk, Va to get her Masters Degree from Old Dominion University. During that time, she became Clarinet Instructor for the Governor
School for the Arts, and Clarinet + Sax Instructor for Music + Arts. Ms Ogram also works at Old Dominion University.
Ms Ogram performs with the Tidewater Winds, the Virginia Wind Symphony and Omega Studio's Washington Winds and serves at Virginia State Chair for the
International Clarinet Association.
