About David Thibodeaux

My name is David Thibodeaux and I've been teaching at Music & Arts since 2004. I am a musician, teacher and recording engineer. I teach because I love music and music has been a part of my whole life. I also teach music humanities courses at Glendale Community College and instrumental music inn the Washington Elementary school district. Besides teaching, I also perform as a freelance trumpet player in the Phoenix area as well as running my own business called 9th Symphony Productions, LLC. My production company specializes in on-location audio and video recordings of classical and jazz performances. I have had recordings that I engineered broadcast on several radio stations around the country. I am a native of Phoenix and currently reside here with my wife and 3 children. I have earned a bachelor's degree in trumpet performance from Northern Arizona University(2002) and a master's in trumpet performance from The University of Maryland (2004)
