About DENNIS G

 Like many musicians I was fortunate to get my start in public school playing trumpet with the band. It was a dream come true for a kid who loved music. I played trumpet, trombone, and finally French horn before switching over to guitar. Guitar is the instrument of Rock n Roll, and I wanted to be a singer songwriter.

As a musician fronting Rock bands playing original material I have performed all over Southern California. I’ve headlined the Whisky a Go Go, played The Roxy Theater, and performed at the Sunset House of Blues. I’ve performed at the Fox Theater, the Riverside Municipal Auditorium, and probably more than half the bars in my area. Good times.

In 2009, my band won the Inland Empire Music Awards for Best Indie Rock and Best Live Band.

In 2014, I became General Manager of a local music store in Riverside CA, whose history went all the way back the early 1970s.  It was an amazing experience getting to run a store that I had shopped at for so many years.

These days my focus with music is on writing and recording songs, which I then release.  I am most fortunate to find myself working with some extremely talented musicians, songwriters, producers, and recording engineers, and the music we are creating together is the finest of my career.

It is my pleasure to be here working for Music & Arts and helping others find their musical voice.
