About Helen S

Hello! My name is Helen Scott. I have been involved in Music since early elementary school when I joined Choir and started Piano lessons. Once I got to Middle School, I began playing Flute, and Oboe at the end of Middle School. From there, I played Flute in Marching Band, and Oboe in Concert Band for the remainder of my time in Grade School. When I picked up the Oboe, I quickly fell in love with it. I competed and joined bands/camps throughout High School. Once I got to college, I decided to Major in Music with a focus in Oboe, but I also learned guitar and joined the Choir.

Since High school, I have enjoyed teaching Flute and Oboe off and on to students of all ages, and playing or singing in various bands around South Carolina. I am always looking for new ways to get involved with Music, whether through learning a new instrument, teaching an instrument, or getting involved in a musical group. I look forward to sharing my love for Music with you all in the store!
