Get to know Katie Busby
Katie has a music performance degree from the University of Missouri Saint Louis. Although orchestral percussion was her main area of study, she also studied piano and West African/Cuban percussion. She has performed at a variety of events including the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, the Mid Missouri Percussion Arts Trophy, the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference, the Missouri Percussive Arts Society Day of Percussion, and has helped facilitate many percussion clinics in the Saint Louis area. She has served as a front ensemble technician at a variety of high school marching band/ winter percussion groups in the Saint Louis area, most recently Rockwood Summit.
